Avon was started off in India's post-partition period by the Pahwa Brothers. Their aim was to provide Indians with an affordable means of transportation. The Pahwa Brothers started the brand by building brakes and saddles starting in 1948. After that, the brothers began to expand their business, and Avon Cycles came into being. Initially, only 250 cycles were rolled out from the plant. With their excellent quality and pocket-friendly pricing, Avon has built an excellent customer base.
