used bikes for sale

Lotus, a bicycle manufacturing brand founded by Sid and Ernst Star, designs and builds a complete range of professional bicycle models. The bike model range includes Aero Sport, America, America Mixte, Challenger Challenger SX, Challenger SX Mixte, Cherokee, Classique, Commuter (ATB Series), Cyclone, Éclair, Elan, Esprit, Excelle and more. International Corp of Syosset, Newyork markets the bike models. In the late 1980s, Lotus became less competitive in the industry and started sourcing bicycles from Taiwan. After Sid Star died in 1990, the company was dissolved by Ernst Star. However, he later acquired the International Licensing and Design Corp. (ILD) to retain the Lotus brand and continued working as a consultant for the design and marketing of Lotus. Before returning to academia in 2000 as a Hofstra University (New York) professor, Ernst eventually sold the trademark to Group Lotus. Wikipedia
