Based just on the outskirts of Los Angeles, Retrospec was launched in the year 2009. The multi-sport brand produces bikes such as single-speed, commuter bicycles, fixies, etc. Ely Khakshouri, who founded the one-of-a-kind brand during his college days at USC (University of Southern California), started the company with a mere investment of $16,000. Khakshouri had an idea to manufacture the cycles in Asia and then sell them to local retailers. With time Retrospec has started to open up new categories, which would have a lineup of kid’s bikes, geared hybrids, e-bikes, folding bikes, etc. In addition to that, the brand is opening up doors for some new accessories like skates, alpine gear, and paddles too.
